Chickens living the life of Riley

Yesterday, we talked chickens again as a lovely breeze rustled the grass and the hay fields. The chickens were making a gentle clucking as I looked over the new moveable cage that they inhabited. The size of a small bicycle barn, the structure is wrapped in chicken wire and covered by a light blue tarp. Each day the chickens are moved to a fresh spot of grass where they can scratch and gobble down as many bugs and crawlies as possible. At the end of the day, when the time comes to move, the chickens gather towards the front, jockeying to be the first chicken with access to the fresh, grassy hunting grounds. Between the chicken feed and this outdoor diet, they seem remarkably content and excited about each new day.
